Beauty hacks come in all shapes and sizes. And while we’d love to tell you to do something fun like rub avocado and honey on your face, that isn’t the case here. Consider this hack less DIY novelty and more … useful.
The beauty industry has come up with every solution for fuller lashes: eyelash extensions, false lashes (strip, individual, clump or cluster), lash tinting, standard mascara, fiber mascara, serum and more. All of these are great options that result in some version of fuller lashes. But what if you want something you can do yourself, everyday, as part of your morning beauty routine?
We have the solution. Tightlining is the act of apply eyeliner to your upper waterline in an effort to fill in any gaps between your lashes and resulting with the appearance of fuller lashes without actually touching, altering or harming your natural lashes at all.
While most people would recommend a pencil eyeliner for tightlining, we suggest ABLE’s Cat Eye 101 liquid liner. Here’s why: Cat Eye 101’s liquid liner formula is smudge proof and will not budge. Plus, makeup artists have found that the felt tip brush on Cat Eye 101 is pointy and stiff enough to get in between those stubborn little lashes.
How to Tightline:
- Look straight ahead in the mirror and lift your chin up slightly
- Gently lift upper eyelid with pointer finger
- Using Cat Eye 101 liquid eyeliner begin to draw formula on upper waterline.
- Make sure all of the little spaces between your lashes are filled in.
- Release eyelid and be in awe of your new, fuller lash line
Who knew eyeliner was the key to lush lashes?
